About us

The Garden Centre Association (GCA) represents nearly 200 garden centres nationwide, which strive to ensure customer satisfaction. We recognise that the achievement of high standards is a necessary part of our members’ long-term success and profitability, and through the inspection programme we help them achieve that. 

Sharing information and experiences at all levels helps to achieve excellence in customer service, plant quality and reliability. A winter conference and study tours for garden centre proprietors, managers and staff are an important part of our work. They help to enhance good communication skills and advise members of the latest retail initiatives to encourage customers to visit garden centres.
